“ACT 2 Child and Family Services believes that everyone deserves a chance at a new direction. We take a client-centered, strength-based approach to helping individuals find their own path through the challenges they face.”
We know that when faced with adversity it can be challenging to make positive changes. Abuse, loss, and grief may be a part of your daily life but, we believe, you have the power to face your fears and transform your life.
We are here to help you every step of the way. We know that by developing new skills and exploring different options, you can move into a better tomorrow. We’ve seen it happen.
Our goal is to establish a positive understanding so we can develop a great relationship. We can do this together.
You can expect to be treated with courtesy, dignity and respect. We honour diversity in all its forms regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age or ability.
All our services and our interactions with you are private and confidential, except that you must be aware that we may be required to make reports to the referring authority. We must disclose information when required by law or directed by an appropriate authority or court.
You may decline or refuse service at any time. However, there may be implications or consequences to your declining service from your referring authority or other authority, or with regard to participation in our program. We will bring those implications to your attention as required.
